JOSEPH "Mighty Joe" ADCOCK

Growing up in the Mid-West in the late 50s and 60s, Joe listened to the big bands of the 40s, as well as the current music of Elvis, The Beatles, Ray Charles, Herb Alpert, Trini Lopez, the British Invasion groups, The Ventures, Beach Boys, and so on.  Joe eventually found himself playing with adult musicians in nightclubs, while still a High School Freshman!   A jazz gig at Disney's Magic Kingdom dropped in Joe's lap, while he was still a High School Senior. Jazz would eventually lead to Blues many years later, with numerous genres played since that first Blues lick captured his attention,  Joe is an attentive student and teacher of the Blues, as well as, a staunch proponent and aficionado of this uniquely American art form.
